To conform with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Strayer University has identified the following data as "directory information" which will be released upon inquiry unless a student files a written notification with the Records Office of his/her desire not to have such information released: address, telephone number, e-mail address, date and place of birth, dates of attendance, major field of study, credit hours earned, degrees earned, honors and awards received, participation in official school activities and most recent previous educational agency of institution. To request restriction of directory information, students must complete a "REQUEST TO RESTRICT RELEASE OF STUDENT DIRECTORY INFORMATION" form available at any campus location or on the www.strayer.edu website and send it to the records department at records@strayer.edu or fax: (703) 880-7335.

Jack Welch Management Institute Program Options

 

Jack Welch MBA – A 12-course degree program with concentrations in Leadership, Healthcare, Human Resources, Operations Management and AI Leadership.

 

JWMI Grad Certificate – A 3-course certificate program with concentrations in Healthcare, Human Resources, Operations Management, and Leadership.


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

TO COMPLETE THIS SECTION OF THE APPLICATION:

If you are a transfer or graduate student, Strayer University will request transcripts on your behalf from the colleges and universities that you have attended, as noted on this application.

Applicants will also be required to submit an essay and an updated resume to JWMIAdmissions@jwmi.com or to their assigned Admissions Officer.

  • I understand that not all Strayer University programs are available in all modalities in all states. Depending on the state, my program of choice may only be available in an online-only version or not at all, and all courses within a program will not be available for on-ground delivery at most campus locations. Due to availability, students are required to take at least some (and in certain cases, all) courses in an online format in order to complete a degree program. 
  • I am aware that Strayer University's most recent campus security report, including the University's drug and alcohol policy and campus crime statistics for the most recent three-year period, is available on the Strayer University website on the Student Consumer Information page. 
  • I understand that Strayer University will request postsecondary transcripts on my behalf from the colleges and/or universities I have attended and listed in this application. I further understand that if any of those institutions require students to request transcripts personally, I will be responsible for promptly requesting my transcript be sent to Strayer. My failure to do so may result in Strayer receiving an incomplete record of my prior academic history and may affect which courses I must complete in my program of choice at Strayer.
